Questo è stato il primo dei due film che Kim Basinger ha girato con Blake Edward. L'altro - Blind Date, fu girato nel 1987.
Kim, prima di girare The Man Who Loved Woman venne presa in considerazione per interpretare Jenny nel precedente film di Edwards 10. La parte, però, venne data a Bo Derek e il film fu un vero successo cinematografico.

PAROLA MIA: Il film è molto divertente e scorrevole. Un cast superstellare. Bellissima e divertente Kim Basinger in versione ninfomane, peccato che il suo ruolo sia davvero piccolo, un cammeo direi.

The prodution budget was of 19.000.000$, the critics disapproved the movie, but Kim Basinger recieved good reviews.

In the U.S.A, the picture opened at the No. #10 rank at the box-office and went on to gross just under US $11 million.

  Kim had her hair cut and much shortened for this movie. Basinger was seen in the film without her long locks but with short hair.

This was the first of two movies that actress Kim Basinger made with director Blake Edwards. The second was Blind Date made and released about four years later in 1987.
Kim Basinger had previously been considered for the role of Jenny in Blake Edwards' earlier hit comedy 10 which went to Bo Derek.

MY REVIEW: The movie is really fun and easy to watch. There's an all starr cast where Kim plays a role of a nymphomaniac girl. Her role is short, but exhilarating.
